October is shaping up to be a busy month for gadget fans, with Google reportedly planning to unleash the latest cut of Android - 4.4 KitKat – the day before Apple unveils the new iPad and iPad Mini in mid-October.
As you know, Google names each iteration of Android after a different confectionary - from Cupcake through to today’s Jelly Bean. For months, rumours have suggested that the next Android release would be called Key Lime Pie, and that we would see it before the end of 2013. This would mark a major leap in point releases, taking us from today’s 4.3 straight through to 5.0.So when Google officially announced that the next big release would be 4.4 and called KitKat, there’s was excitement, confusion... and a little sniggering in the back rows.
-Firmware availability to older phones
-Fragmentation changes (screen resizing)
-Miracast updates
-New Gallery Visualisation
-New APIs regarding animations
-Change android default blue to other preset palette colours
